So Many Words at 20 Months Old

My little princess is 20 months old today. I can not believe that she will be 2 years old in only 4 months. Boy, time flies when you are having fun! Everybody was right ~ they grow up so fast!

Today she wanted to wear her tutu. The way she says that is so cute. So, I put it on over the dress she had on. She proceeded to try to take off her dress by pulling at the collar. So, I took her dress off. She had fun dancing and her new skill 'tiptoeing' around in her tutu.

Abby also has a favorite blanky. Somebody from Mike's office made it for her, but he doesn't know who. Men! If you are the one that made it, please let me know! She loves it!

She loves clothes. She has to have them on the hanger, if it falls off she will come to me and say, "out" which means, "help me". She will spin around in circles trying to lay the clothes on the floor perfectly flat. If they aren't perfect, she'll do it again and again until they are. It is too funny to watch her.

I tried to write a list of all of the words she is saying, but everyday her vocabulary expands. In no particular order, here are the words she likes to use:

Whereryou (where are you?), Moon, Crayon, Caga (color or colors), Elmo, Memo (Nemo), Shek (Shrek), Toes, Feet, Neck, Deedee, Papa, Daddy (or Dada), Abby, Nana, Tata, Mama, No, Oh no, Uh oh, Wawa (water), Baba (bottle), Mimi (Minnie Mouse), Fie-eee (pacifier), Uh haa (yes), Chooze (shoes), All done, All gone, Juice, Cheese, Babee(baby), Side (outside or slide), Pay (play), Go, Carcoo (cartoon), Pooh (Winnie the Pooh), Potty, Eat eat (I’m hungry), Ga (Gus), Tickle tickle, Bubble, Dor (door), Banana, Eyes, Swisui (swim suit), Poo (pool), Diada (diaper), Truck, Car, Coke, Fy (fry), Ship (chip), Caacaa, Caca (cracker), Cake, CaCake (cupcake), Bue (blue), On, Spoo (spoon), Bite, Pwease (please), Shaywee (Shaylie), Ticke (stickers), Da (Uncle Dan), Cr (Uncle Chris), Eee Eee (Monkey), Hewwo (Hello), Paper, Copy (coffee), Chicken, YA YA ( I want that!), Book, Cookie, Out (Help), Flir (on the floor), Tow (towel), Cween (clean), Tea, Teeth, Apple, Aboo or bwoo (balloon), Hot, Hat, Duck, Arf arf Da (dog)

Making Cookies with DeeDee

On Friday, Grandma DeeDee and Abby make cookies. Abby loved trying to scoop out the dough. Of course, her Mama showed her how much fun it is to eat the dough. As you can see, she thoroughly enjoyed licking the spoon on the way to the cookie sheet. You can hear her actually mmmmmming as she eats the chocolate chip cookie dough. You'll never guess what Abby wanted to use to help make cookies. We made sure that she was the one that got that cookie! After eating the dough, she wasn't too interesting in eating the finished cookie. We gave her one, but when I turned around it was no longer in her hand. Gus or Shaylie gobbled it up quickly. There was no evidence, but both dogs looked guilty.

Look what Mommy found!

I was browsing my photo library and came across Abby baptism photos. Look how small she was. This was Dec 21st, 2008! She was just over one year old. That cute little dress she has one is a size 24 months from Carters. She has always been tall for her age. That she gets from her daddy. What I remember the most is that while she was sitting on my lap like above, she hit her lip on the pew in front of her and her lip started bleeding and she of course started screaming in the middle of the ceremony. That's my Abby. Has to make sure every one knows she is here! Her godparents are my cousin Kimberly and Mike's sister Sarah. We ran into a paper filing issue because at least one of the god parents also had to be confirmed. Only one of our choices met that criteria. ThankS Kimmie!
