Abby Latest Adventure

Abby loves going to the park! Her favorite thing used to be the swings. This week she changed her mind. Now her favorite is playing with the sand. She enjoys getting two big handfulls and throwing it on the slide. over and over again. Here she is in action.


Today, her Grandpa took her to the amusement park inside Encanto Park in Phoenix. It has lots of rides geared to kids ages 1 to 8, perfect for Abby! Her favorites were the carosel. She rode it 5 times! Twice with mom, once with dad, once with Grandpa and once with mom and dad. She also liked the helecopter ride. It went up and around in a circle.

Her other favorite was the train. We went around two times! Here is grandpa showing Abby the train engine.
After the park, Abby fell asleep and missed lunch at the restaurant. The park really tired her out!

This weeks Blog Hop is 3 Things You Didn't Know about me. 1) I have a Master's in Educational Technology from NAU (Northern Arizona University). Working on my masters, was the first time that I stayed in a dorm during college. I had a room to myself during summer session. It was better than staying with my parents, but I got bored and lonely. Be Strong - MckLinky Blog Hop

My favorite quote this week is simple. "BE STRONG!" I need to be strong for this little girl, my precious Abigail. We all need to have some fun and enjoy life. But, sometimes things happen that are out of your control. That's when we need to "be strong". Kinda reminds me of that song, " I Will Survive " by Gloria Gaynor. "I will survive, I've got all my love to give, and I'll survive.."
