It's a GIRL!!!

This picture is from our first 3D/4D appointment on Aug 25th. I was 29 weeks. She was such a little lady, that she wouldn't even open her legs for her parents. This was the only shot we got from this visit. It is of her her two legs straight out and her feet to the left. At our re-do appointment, she finally smarted up and shared her little secret! It's a girl! In this beautiful picture you can see her chubby cheeks and squarish chin. Her nose is not really that distorted, nor are her eyes really that dark. The technician said the distortion is because her head is crammed in my pelvic region and that tends to not allow as much amniotic fluid around. It is the amniotic fluid that helps get clear images using ultrasound. Also, the technician kept shaking my tummy. Her nose looks different in all the shot we have. We only have about 8 more weeks until we can all meet little Abigail! Love ya, Amanda :D

Week 32 Pictures

Finally, a new belly shot. I don't have the best photographer, but he does a decent job. Anyways...here are some pics OH YEAH...........We went and had our redo appointment at the Peek of You 3D/4D ultrasound place. And......we are having a GIRL!!! Her name will be Abigail...still working on the middle name. Yes, I have some still shots from our visit. I should have those posted by this weekend. She is too cute! She has chubby cheeks and a square chin like her father. And, the cutest part was when she gave us a great big yawn at the very end of our session, and we got it on video! It will be neat watching it in the up coming weeks while we anticipate her arrival. She did flip; her head is down and her butt is up. She's on her way! Love ya, Amanda :D

More Pics of Mikee's Woodworking Skills

Mike working on putting in the drawer guides. The baby changing station with the drawer guides installed. It's starting to come together. It was about 107 degrees this day. I think he wore long sleeves and long pants to wipe his brow with. Crazy man! Actually assembling the box that will become a drawer. The drawer guides look great in the chest of drawers. The top left drawer is a finished drawer at this stage. It has the "nice" outer wood piece installed to the drawer box. I never realized how many details were involved in making a piece of furniture. Both pieces are going to be extremely nice once they are done!

Pictures...Finally

Here is picture of me at 25 Weeks. I need to have my photographer (aka Mike) take another belly picture. Right now, I am in week 31. Things to look forward to... Here is a picture of the first stages of the baby changing station that Mike and his dad are building. Today they are working on assembly the drawers. They still have to stain it, sand it, and add the finishing touches. It's going to look awesome! Here is the chest of drawers they are building. It is going to be a huge piece with 12 drawers. My mom and I begin putting together the baby's crib. My dad was supervising, as was Gus! We almost have it together. TaaaDaaaa! It is together and looks beautiful in the room that my Dad and Holi painted. Those jungle pictures are too cute with the animals peeking out of the corner of the frame. Another view of the nursery. the nursery again The nursery again...This is the wall where the baby changing station is going to go once it's all ready. We are getting so excited! There ...

30 Weeks and counting

We had our 30 week doctor's appointment today. Everything went well. The heartbeat was 150 again. Our next visit is scheduled for the 18th. Lots has happened since my last blog. Let's see. I did not pass the one hour glucose test. I had to go back the following week for a fasting 3 hour test. I couldn't eat after midnight the night before and had to be at the doc office by 7:30 am. I had to drink a sweeter drink than the first time and then sit in their office for the next 3 hours. They drew blood 4 times. I had bruises on both arms. I did pass that test! The doc said that I do not have diabetes, but he would consider me to be borderline. So he wants me to be careful with my diet. Sounds easy enough, right?!?!? We went for a 3D/4D ultrasound on Aug 25th to find out the gender. Our baby is in a breech position. It's butt is tucked into my left side and its head is tucked up just below my ribs on the right side. It is also with its spine facing out. No Luck! We spent at l...
