Well, I finally convinced Mike to hang up our lights. We tested the strands. One of them had a section out, but we thought we had enough without it. So, Mike used the ladder and hung the lights on the hooks he put up last year. He had them all up within 20 min. Then we decided we should just go and get a few working strands. Upon our return...he went to plug them in and discovered he had the wrong end to fit in the extension cord. Boy, was he frustrated! So, I went to find an adapter but had no luck. When I returned he had the lights half down and was beginning to put them up the right way. When he tried to attach the new lights we had got this morning, we discovered the prongs wouldn't fit into the old strand. Mike reached a new level of frustration. We ended up with 2 extension cords to get all of the light turned on. Mike would not let the lights win. We have blue icicle lights around the front of our house and even white lights on our 2 bushes. The joy of Christmas hasn't died yet! :-D Love ya!
I was browsing my photo library and came across Abby baptism photos. Look how small she was. This was Dec 21st, 2008! She was just over one year old. That cute little dress she has one is a size 24 months from Carters. She has always been tall for her age. That she gets from her daddy. What I remember the most is that while she was sitting on my lap like above, she hit her lip on the pew in front of her and her lip started bleeding and she of course started screaming in the middle of the ceremony. That's my Abby. Has to make sure every one knows she is here! Her godparents are my cousin Kimberly and Mike's sister Sarah. We ran into a paper filing issue because at least one of the god parents also had to be confirmed. Only one of our choices met that criteria. ThankS Kimmie!
