It's in the Air

I can hardly believe that Christmas Day is nearly here!! Tomorrow is Christmas Eve!! I always get so excited around this time of year! And even this year when there are only 2 (yes I said two) presents under our tree (which by the way only has 1 ornament on it cuz Mikee wouldn't get the xmas boxes down from the attic). And they aren't even for me! And I'm still excited about Christmas! It must be in the air!

My gift from Mikee is visiting Sarah in San Diego for New Years. I'm looking forward to going out there and just relaxing with his sister. So far our plans include playing Mario Party, playing with their new Wii, and enjoying pizza. I couldn't be more excited! My gift for Mikee was getting him to Dillards to buy new clothes. He got 2 pair of pants that are 3 sizes smaller!!! And a hoodie sweatshirt and a long sleeved shirt that are 2 sizes smaller! He was so thrilled to be into smaller clothes.

This Weight Watchers thing is really working for us. It has been over 12 weeks. Mikee has lost 32 pounds and I have lost 26.4 pounds. I went down 3 pant sizes, too! It feels great to see my body changing. What a great motivator to keep going.

Just like the last 31 years of my life, I am getting a cold during winter break. It sucks to be sick during the holidays. I so don't want to be down and out that I actually bought TheraFlu to help make me better. Actually, I'm drinking it right now. Yuck! Pray for me to get better.

If we have your address, you should have received your Christmas Card with our family picture. We never did decide which one to pick so we mailed out 3 different poses randomly to our family.

I'm off to eat some soup for dinner. Love ya :-D

Making Cookies with DeeDee

On Friday, Grandma DeeDee and Abby make cookies. Abby loved trying to scoop out the dough. Of course, her Mama showed her how much fun it is to eat the dough. As you can see, she thoroughly enjoyed licking the spoon on the way to the cookie sheet. You can hear her actually mmmmmming as she eats the chocolate chip cookie dough. You'll never guess what Abby wanted to use to help make cookies. We made sure that she was the one that got that cookie! After eating the dough, she wasn't too interesting in eating the finished cookie. We gave her one, but when I turned around it was no longer in her hand. Gus or Shaylie gobbled it up quickly. There was no evidence, but both dogs looked guilty.

Look what Mommy found!

I was browsing my photo library and came across Abby baptism photos. Look how small she was. This was Dec 21st, 2008! She was just over one year old. That cute little dress she has one is a size 24 months from Carters. She has always been tall for her age. That she gets from her daddy. What I remember the most is that while she was sitting on my lap like above, she hit her lip on the pew in front of her and her lip started bleeding and she of course started screaming in the middle of the ceremony. That's my Abby. Has to make sure every one knows she is here! Her godparents are my cousin Kimberly and Mike's sister Sarah. We ran into a paper filing issue because at least one of the god parents also had to be confirmed. Only one of our choices met that criteria. ThankS Kimmie!
