a bit sleepy

I deserve a pat on the back. Last night, being the adult that I am, I attended my scheduled sleep study appointment. I've been very tired for the past few months so I decided to do something about it. I was hooked up to over 20 wires and monitors while they watched and listened to me sleep. The technician would only tell me that I can snore loudly. I have to wait about 10 days to hear from the doctor. I was afraid I might have sleep apnea like my parents and my brother, but now I'm not so sure. During my parents sleep study they put a cpap machine on them in the middle of the night. They did not do that for me. I guess I just have to wait to see what the doctor says.

On a lighter note, I'm beginning to feel a little better. I spent most of Christmas day in bed sleeping. We went over to my parents for breakfast and to open gifts and then I came home and took 3 or 4 naps. The best part was that Mikee worked his butt off cleaning the house while taking care me. He did ALL of the laundry, cleaned the bedroom, did the dished, mopped the kitchen floor and made sure I was taken care of! He's definitely a keeper!!!! I am loved!

I post some pics of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day later. Right now, I have to go finish Sarah's gift, which is just about done!

Love ya! :-D

Making Cookies with DeeDee

On Friday, Grandma DeeDee and Abby make cookies. Abby loved trying to scoop out the dough. Of course, her Mama showed her how much fun it is to eat the dough. As you can see, she thoroughly enjoyed licking the spoon on the way to the cookie sheet. You can hear her actually mmmmmming as she eats the chocolate chip cookie dough. You'll never guess what Abby wanted to use to help make cookies. We made sure that she was the one that got that cookie! After eating the dough, she wasn't too interesting in eating the finished cookie. We gave her one, but when I turned around it was no longer in her hand. Gus or Shaylie gobbled it up quickly. There was no evidence, but both dogs looked guilty.

Look what Mommy found!

I was browsing my photo library and came across Abby baptism photos. Look how small she was. This was Dec 21st, 2008! She was just over one year old. That cute little dress she has one is a size 24 months from Carters. She has always been tall for her age. That she gets from her daddy. What I remember the most is that while she was sitting on my lap like above, she hit her lip on the pew in front of her and her lip started bleeding and she of course started screaming in the middle of the ceremony. That's my Abby. Has to make sure every one knows she is here! Her godparents are my cousin Kimberly and Mike's sister Sarah. We ran into a paper filing issue because at least one of the god parents also had to be confirmed. Only one of our choices met that criteria. ThankS Kimmie!
